Daily Home Learning Plan

Every day a Daily Home Learning Plan will set out the learning for that day.

Mathematics covers key skills we have learnt in class and will focus on refreshing our varied fluency and applying this to problem solving questions.

Writing will include spelling and grammar.  During the week, we will work on producing small pieces of writing each day, building up to an end piece of writing on Friday that you can share and get feedback on from your Class Teacher.

The spellings for Summer 2 follow the Twinkl programme.  A spelling test will be completed on Fridays.

Grammar will allow you to refresh your  knowledge and put it into practise in small writing tasks.

Reading.  It is important that you continue to read on a daily basis.  There will be daily reading tasks for you to complete.

Federation wide Geography project: Greece.  Will cover the other subjects in the curriculum and will be different each day.  These include History, Geography, Art/D&T, RE and Music.  These are fun activities you could complete in the afternoons.

Science: We will be focusing on learning about Rocks!

French/PE/Computing: Will be covered on a weekly basis.

Picture News is a way for children to learn about current affairs and share their views.

Daily Challenge is a fun activity you can do and then share with your class on DB Primary.

You can print off the Daily Home Learning Plan or complete it in your green book.

It is not necessary for you to complete everything on the Daily Plan, it is important that you find a schedule that works for you and your family.

Remember, we need to continue to learn but we should also have fun while doing it!
