Welcome back! I hope that you all enjoyed half term and managed to get outside for some walks and to play in the garden now that it has warmed up!
This half term we are looking forward to exploring our new topic of ‘Lifecycles and growth.’ This is such a wonderful topic as Spring begins and we start to see new life and growth all around us. It is a great opportunity to get outside and become detectives on Spring watch.
Today I am looking forward to seeing you all and hearing all about your half term!
Daily zoom lessons from 9-10am. Please complete the tasks from the lesson and upload your work onto your blog on DB Primary.

To complete todays spelling test, please sit your child at the table with a piece of plain paper. Then read out the list of spellings, one at a time and only moving onto the next when they are ready. You can repeat the word to them but cannot help with sounding out. If the spelling requires a capital letter ie. Name, place etc. If they do not apply the capital letter the spelling is incorrect. Please check and mark the spellings and upload them onto your child’s blog.
This week’s new spellings- now, how, down, brown, town, out, about, mouth, sound, you.
Extension- treasure, clue, inside, smile
Please write a sentence for each spelling to help you to practise and learn them. I have added a powerpoint below to help you learn the new spellings.
Maths - Please watch the video on 'Comparing lengths' and complete the follow up activity.
