Mental Health Week continued

This week we will be continuing to think about our feelings and what make us special.

 

 Phonics

Monday- How are you? Did you have a good weekend?

Daily zoom lessons from 9-10am. Please complete the tasks from the lesson and upload your work onto your blog on DB Primary.

Today you are going to play a game! You will need counters and a die. The game is an emotions game, as you land on a square, describe a time where you have felt that emotion.

Please write your answer as a full sentence using full stops and capital letters. Sound talk unfamiliar words and apply your spellings.

 

 

 PE

For our PE lessons we will use a variety of different materials focusing on all of the EYFS and Year 1 PE curriculum expectations.

Reception and Year 1- Today you have a live PE lesson with KAS and teacher Aaron at 13.30-14.10.

 

Spelling test grander, grandest, fresher, freshest, quicker, quickest, taller, tallest, slower, slowest

Extension- extreme, outside, explode

 

To complete todays spelling test, please sit your child at the table with a piece of plain paper. Then read out the list of spellings, one at a time and only moving onto the next when they are ready. You can repeat the word to them but cannot help with sounding out. If the spelling requires a capital letter ie. Name, place etc. If they do not apply the capital letter the spelling is incorrect. Please check and mark the spellings and upload them onto your child’s blog.
