The Anglo-Saxons

Good afternoon Oak class.

Today we are exploring the Anglo-Saxon system of Crimes and Punishments.

The Anglo-Saxon period of history came after the Romans and lasted until the Norman conquest in 1066.

Please read the presentation and answer the questions in it in the new DB Primary forum about the Anglo-Saxons or write your answers in your Green book.

Please also look at 1, 2, 3 or 4 of the case studies and write (not talk) about them.

I have not included the wergild activity referred to in the presentation as it is not easy to do it when we are socially distanced.

Finally please rate your learning on the Success Criteria grid provided and cut and paste in your Green book or post it on the forum.

I hope you enjoy learning about the Anglo-Saxon system of Crimes and Punishments.

As always, if you have any queries please post or email me.
