Hatfield Broad Oak

Thursday 11th Feb

English

Spellings: Go over the words which you are finding difficult.  The test is tomorrow at 9.30 for year 3 and 9:45 for year 4.

Reading: Spend 15 minutes reading your chosen daily reading book.  Have you finished the one you started a week ago?  If you are now reading a new book please update the Wrens blog to say what you are reading now.  Those who have been doing this will know that I have given them a reward token on DB Primary.

Diary writing: Go yo your desk top on DB primary and you will find the document on which you will write your pretend diary entry about our virtual trip to the zoo yesterday.  You will need the notes you made yesterday, and  some of you may even wish to revisit the zoo trip using the link on Thursday's page.

This is a power point explaining the features of recount writing. There is an identical link on the DB Primary diary writing task. Watch it before you begin writing your diary entry.

Maths

Geography -

Spend 45 minutes working on the fact file we talked about yesterday.  Look back at Wednesday if you are not sure where to start.  There is a fact file writing frame for you to use or adapt.
