Thursday 4th March - World Book Day

Today is World Book Day

If you would like some fun, why not dress up as one of your favourite book characters?

  • Upload a photo of yourself dressed up, to our Wrens class blog on DB Primary.
  • You might want to pose in a funny place at home for your picture.  Make sure you are holding up the book so that it can be seen.

English - enjoying reading

Today you need to have a book with you so that you can pick it up and read it for five minutes every hour!  If you have younger brothers or sisters you could read to them.  If you have grandparents or other family members that you can't see at the moment why not give them a call and read them one of your favourite stories or poems.  I am sure they would love to hear from you.  If you are dressed up they might like to see your costume on a video call.

PE - Take a break and move around - Perhaps you'd like to watch a Joe Wicks workout, have a run outside or use a skipping rope.

Year 4 - world book day maths challenge cards. Choose at least three at the challenge level right for you.

DT - make a book - save your new book for tomorrow as you will write a little poem in it.
