Today we are going to start planning our very own story inspired by ‘the dog, the mole, the fox and the horse.

I have attached a blank storyboard below. Although we are going to be planning and writing the whole story in the next few weeks, today I would like you to just think about the beginning of your story.

How do stories start? Can you introduce and describe your characters? Where is your story set? Where do they live? What is the climate like? Use what you have learnt in Geography this term, will there be any extreme weather in your story?

Use the different boxes on the storyboard to illustrate your story, add labels and a brief note below to explain your drawing.

Please watch the maths video and complete the follow-up maths activity on 'sorting 3D shapes'

OPTIONAL - Complete the missing number addition and subtraction sentences.  Draw a part whole model for some of the questions to show your understanding (2 x choices according to level of difficulty)

Geography/ Understanding the World

Hot and Cold Weather- By exploring climate zones around the world, I can compare and describe how climate affects living things. Please see the powerpoints below.
