St Mary’s C of E Hatfield Broad Oak Primary School Breakfast Club

Our Breakfast Club is only available to children attending our school.  Only children who have registered for Breakfast Club will be able to attend (the Registration Form must be completed as the information contained is essential).

Session times

Breakfast Club will run in the school hall (with some activities on the playground - weather permitting), from 8am until the start of school at 8.45am on normal school days during term times.

Breakfast Club will not be available on non-pupil days or during school holidays.

Coming into Breakfast Club

Children will be welcomed at the hall entrance having entered using the doorbell at the main reception door, and attendance will be recorded on the Breakfast Club register, just as in school

Behaviour

We will expect the children to behave just as well at Breakfast Club as they do in school - the same "rules" apply!

Breakfast

The options are either:-

2 slices of toast (with either butter, honey or jam OR cereal (Weetabix, Rice Krispies, Cheerios). Fruit will also be available, along with Apple juice, milk and water to drink.

Staffing

Mrs H Beeson will run Breakfast Club.  Depending on demand for places, additional staff will be appointed to maintain adequate adult child ratios.  All staff will be subject to CRB checks in line with school policy on safeguarding children.

Charges and Payment

£4 per session.

Payments via School Money.

Non-payment of Breakfast Club fees will result in a reminder letter being sent.  If this reminder is not responded to within 7 days, the school reserves the right to refuse the place at Breakfast Club until the arrears are cleared.
