Questioning
Individual Questions from LHS (Little Hallingbury Scientists)
Biology: Do any seabirds not live on land?
Comments on the Questions Below
In most cases, students' questions have been written exactly as asked. Some questions* would not be classed as 'scientific questions' but have been included as they reflect curiosity and help us think about what science can and can't attempt to explore and answer. A scientific question should be 'testable'. It should be possible to devise ways of working scientifically to answer the question. Questions such as 'Is there a God?' are more likely to be philosophical, religious and spiritual questions.
