Research for a non-chronological report

Choose one of the four animals listed below to research:

1. Arctic Wolf
2. Polar Bear
3. Canada Goose
4. Grizzly/Brown Bear

Your research should include information from the main sub-headings shown below:

• Habitat – Where can the animal be found? What makes this habitat suitable for it? What adaptations has the animal developed to enable its survival here? What biome do they inhabit?
• Life Cycle – What time of year does the breeding take place? Are there any interesting or unique aspects to it? Do they migrate?
• Fun Facts – Eating/survival/adaptations/characteristics
• Photos - if possible, but a selection will be provided in class for children to choose from.
• Conservation – Is there anything that is threatening their survival?

Please note that the questions are prompts for research ideas, you do not have to answer them all.
